Choo Choo Dilan is turning 3!!!

The cake decorations are made of fondant, the grass is vanilla butter cream, 12in marble cake with chocolate filling.

My first try at making a three tier cake. The first two tiers were a marble cake with a chocolate sour cream filling; the top tier was a chocolate orange cake with a chocolate orange filling. The hardest part was painting like a child. I learned how pure and unrestricted our children’s minds are. So pure ... So much fun to make this cake.

Guess who turned 40 this year ... my hubby

Peter celebrated his 40th birthday by finishing an Ironman in 12 hours and some minutes.  What a big deal ... so how else to celebrate his party than with a cake recognizing his accomplishment.
